About Me

My photo
It is always my pleasure to help preserve any moment that has meaning in your life. I am from a small town in Texas called Smithville. I am married and have four children and four grandchildren. Life is moving fast for me as I am sure it is for you too. That is why I am stuck to my camera. I am a very energetic photographer with an open mind. I am always happy to step out of the box and try something new. I use Nikon equipment and love finding new add-ons that make a vast difference in the quality of my work. My prayer is to create an image that reflects the look and emotion felt the moment it was taken.

UNCLE BILLY'S QUE AND BREW 3-10-2012

Had such a wonderful time at Uncle Billy's Que and Brew. A huge thanks to the multi talented Martin Guigui, who added us to the guest list and entertained us with his awesome musical talents. In addition, thanks to Glenn, the owner of the establishment, for allowing these photos to be taken and being a new friend. Jamey Johnson, Billy Gibbons, and Van Wilkes, just to mention a few, were also so warm and entertaining. It was an incredible night of talent. (Thanks for the guitar pick, Van. Martin, FINALLY, I have your album. Thank you so much my dear friend). Thank you Glenn for your hospitality.

WINSTON JAMES

Well, I had a little slice of cake yesterday. Sweet Winston arrived into this world about a week ago. What a precious sight he was. He handsome and so sweet, (and patient). A BIG Texas thank you to Winston for being such a trooper.

RAFFLEMANIA!!!

This will be the Rafflemania 2012 poster for Brown Elementary's 2nd grade basket prepared by Cookie Evanicky.

FIRE WIRE by Leah Godfrey

This was quite a unique shoot. Leah found herself meeting a deadline to submit photos to an art exhibit. I had no idea what to expect when she called me about her works of art. Man, was I impressed. I enjoyed photographing these beautiful crosses that are so artfully made from the rubble from the  fires of Bastrop  County. Good luck with this exciting venture, Leah!
